We partnered with nonprofit Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah to create this traditional farmhouse cider. Apples from wild and planted trees rooted in the soils of the 1890 Seavey homestead site within Mt. Pisgah’s pristine basin are hand-harvested by volunteers each fall. Our cidermaker helped preserve these historic trees, which were destined for removal to clear the way for native wildflowers, by making the case for their use in cider. The result of our advocacy is a complex, floral, dry cider. $1 per bottle is donated back to the nonprofit organization, which continues its responsible land stewardship of this beloved 4,700-acre green space.
