Barrels: French Oak Pinot Noir from King Estate Winery
Blended from pure freeze-pressed cherry wine made from the Black Republican, a rare, historic cherry variety bred in the Willamette Valley in the early 1800s. These small and difficult-to-harvest cherries have a rich, deep color and have a concentrated profile of high acid and high sugar. This cherry wine is then blended with naturally fermented, wild-harvested cider and left to age in freshly spent Willamette Pinot Noir barrels for a full-bodied, tannic warmer to welcome the coming of autumn.
